A Guide To Induction Loop Systems

portable induction loop Induction loop systems (or to give them their full name: Audio Frequency Induction Loop Systems - AFILS) are used to assist the hearing impaired by transmitting amplified sound, i.e., music, speech, etc, to hearing aids fitted with a telecoil. (NHS and most other third party hearing aids are fitted with telecoils.) Demand for AFILS is increasing due to new legislation aimed at preventing discrimination against disabled people.
